That's write! I mean, right! I'm starting my very own stationery company after much rumination and soul searching. Well, some thinking and light soul searching. It's not like I'm applying for law school or anything! So say hello to Indigo Wing Paper Company!
I want my "side hustle" or any project I undertake to be authentic and realistic. It would be great if it made some money, of course, but I don't want it to seem out of character. I have plans for my retirement from my main profession - as a middle school teacher - in 5-7 years, but in the meantime, I've been unfocused and searching for where to land.
I guessed, after all, why not with something I love? Paper, stickers, and washi tape, oh my! And throw in some graphic design and artistry! So my little brand was born! I had started in fits and hiccups to do bookkeeping training (about 34% done with that) and then tax training (to work for TurboTax - about 40% done with that). But that didn't please my soul, my brain, my muse, and my imagination the way starting a stationery company has!
